CAT 2021: Official mock test released; Here's how to access it
IIM Ahmedabad has activated the CAT 2021 official mock test link on its official website, iimcat.ac.in. CAT 2021 will be held on November 28. Check CAT mock test details here.

NEW DELHI: IIM, Ahmedabad has released the official CAT 2021 mock test link for registered candidates on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. With the help of CAT online mock, candidates can get accustomed to the CAT test pattern that has been followed previous year, test duration and more. The CAT administering body, IIMA has also released CAT official mocks for blind and low vision affected candidates and other PwD candidates. CAT mock test 2021 consists of MCQs and TITA Questions divided into three sections.

"The mock test contains selected questions from previous years' Common Admission Test (CAT) papers with an aim to familiarize the candidates with different types of questions generally asked in CAT (MCQs/ Non-MCQs) and the exam console”, read the official notice.
The duration of the CAT mock test given by IIMA is 120 minutes (40 minutes each for three sections). This is as per the CAT test pattern followed in the last year.
“The objective of this CAT exam mock test is not to disclose the exam pattern for CAT 2021 and the actual exam may or may not contain similar type or number of questions”, reads the official notice further.
CAT 2021 exam date is November 28 and the exam results are expected to be released by the second week of January 2022.

How to access the official CAT mock test
The best way to get an idea about the CAT syllabus, exam structure and other stuff is to appear for the CAT mock test 2021 released by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Here is a step by step process for accessing CAT mock test 2021 -
Step 1 - Visit the official website of IIM CAT, iimcat.ac.in
Step 2 - Find the ‘CAT 2021 mock test link’ tab and click on it.
Step 3 - A new page will open having the free official CAT mock test link.
Step 4 - Select and click on ‘Sign in’
Step 5 - Enter CAT 2021 login credentials, login id and password
Step 6 -Check the box for 'I agree to the terms and conditions'
Step 7 - Candidates can now access the CAT mock test

CAT mock test 2021 is the replica of the actual test, so candidates can know the previous year CAT exam pattern (this year the pattern may or may not vary), CAT 2021 syllabus, time management and a lot more.

The CAT mock test is available for people with low vision as well as normal vision. Separate links are available on the website; candidates can visit the one as per their own preference. For candidates with low vision, a magnifying option is available on top of the screen.
