: Indian Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad (IIMA) will close the CAT 2021 registration window today September 22, on the official website iimcat.ac.in. Eligible candidates can register for CAT 2021 by visiting the official website. Candidates who have completed graduation can apply for CAT 2021 in online mode. Earlier the last date to fill IIM CAT 2021 application form was September 17.

Candidates who wish to register for CAT 2021 must check the CAT 2021 eligibility criteria and meet the criteria before beginning the CAT 2021 registration process. Candidates are recommended to pay the application fee of Rs.2200 for general category students and 1200 for SC/ ST/ Pwd students in order to complete the CAT 2021 registration process. The CAT 2021 exam date is November 28, 2021.

Eligibility criteria for CAT 2021
It is important to check with CAT 2021 eligibility criteria before starting registration.Candidates those who meet the below requirements are eligible for CAT 2021 exam.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline mentioning pass/ promotion in their certificate, from any recognized institution/ university.

Candidates who are currently in the third year/ last semester of their graduation are also eligible.

There is no age limit to appear for CAT 2021.
Documents required to carry before CAT 2021 registration
In order to submit the CAT application form successfully, candidates are required to keep the following documents ready with them.

Class 10 Mark sheet

Class 12 Mark sheet

Graduation certificate

If candidates are in the final year of graduation, they must bring carry the final year certificate with their HOD signature on it and also provide previous years marks sheet

Work experience document, if any

Scanned copy of passport size photograph

Scanned copy of applicant signature

Keep ready the applicable documents such as caste certificate, and income certificate.

Keep your credit card/ debit card ready as the CAT application fee has to be paid online

Click on generate OTP. Candidates will be receiving an OTP on their registered email id, enter the OTP and complete the registration process

Now, fill the CAT application form by providing details like personal details, contact details, address etc.

Upload the required documents

Pay the CAT 2021 application fee through credit card/debit card/ net banking etc.

What after CAT registration?
After closing the CAT 2021 registration process, IIM Ahmedabad will release the CAT 2021 admit card on October 27, 2021 on the official website. Registered candidates can visit the official website and download the CAT 2021 admit card by using their login credentials. It is mandatory to carry a CAT 2021 admit card to the CAT 2021 exam. The CAT 2021 exam will be held on November 28, 2021
About CAT
Common Admission Test (CAT), is a National Level entrance test to provide admission to the candidates into management and allied programs offered by 20 IIMs and other major top B-schools across the country. CAT 2021 exam will be conducted by IIM Ahmedabad on November 28, 2021 in a computer based mode. The CAT question paper consists of three sections namely verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude.
