The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will close the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 registration window tomorrow, September 14. CAT 2022 registration began on August 3 in online mode. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the CAT registration form by visiting the official website- iimcat.ac.in. Before commencing with CAT application form, candidates are advised to check and meet the specified CAT eligibility criteria.

In order to submit the CAT 2022 application form successfully, candidates will have to pay the CAT application fee of Rs 2300 for the General category and Rs 1150 for candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC category. Along with the CAT application fee, candidates will have to provide past academic qualifications and upload requisite documents such as photographs and signatures.

CAT eligibility criteria 2022

Candidates should have completed their graduation (minimum 3 years of duration) in any stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50% marks for general category and 45% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates.

No work experience is required to appear for the CAT entrance exam.

There is no age bar to apply for CAT 2022 exam.

Candidates pursuing the final year of graduation are also eligible and apply for the CAT entrance test.

Steps to fill CAT application form 2022
Interested and eligible candidates can fill the CAT 2022 application form by referring to the following steps.
Step 1- Go to the official IIM CAT 2022 website and register
Step 2- Login by the generated CAT 2022 credentials
Step 3- Fill out the CAT 2022 application form by entering the required details
Step 4- Pay category-wise CAT 2022 application fee
Step 5- Submit CAT 2022 application form and take a print out of it for future reference
After the closing of the CAT 2022 registration window, authorities will open the CAT application form correction window to edit/ modify the submitted CAT application form. Only registered candidates can avail the facility of the CAT application form correction window. After the closing of the CAT 2022 correction window, IIM Bangalore will issue CAT admit card in online mode on October 27. On the day of the CAT exam, it is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the CAT admit card.
