CAT 2022: Notification to be out soon; Exam date, registration, and paper pattern

NEW DELHI- The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will soon release the official CAT 2022 notification. Along with it, the CAT 2022 official website will be launched. As per speculations, IIM Bangalore is preparing to conduct this national-level MBA entrance exam. Going by past year’s CAT notification trends, CAT is usually held on the last Sunday of every November. So this time, it is expected that CAT 2022 will be held on November 27.

CAT 2022 notification will have all the important details pertaining to CAT exam such as CAT CAT 2022 dates, CAT 2022 eligibility, CAT registration, detailed CAT exam pattern, and more. CAT 2022 registration process is likely to begin in the first week of August. As per basic CAT eligibility criteria, candidates having bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the CAT 2022 entrance test.

The number of CAT test cities will be mentioned in the CAT notification 2022. Apart from that, the CAT application fee for candidates belonging to different categories will also be mentioned. Last year IIM Ahmedabad introduced changes in the application fee, increased the CAT registration fee from Rs 2000 to Rs 2200 for general category, and Rs 1000 to Rs 1100 for the reserved category. The number of CAT cities also increased from 156 to 159 cities.

CAT 2022: Expected paper pattern

It is expected that the CAT paper pattern this year will be on similar lines as that of last year.

Every year, more than 2 lakh candidates register for the Common Admission Test (CAT). The online CAT 2022 registration process is likely to begin in the first week of August. Candidates will be able to fill out the CAT application form by the second week of September. Candidates have to first register to create CAT 2022 login credentials, then move on to filling out the form and paying the application fee.
