The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, is closing the CAT application form window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 tomorrow, on September 21 (5:00 PM). Candidates interested in applying for CAT MBA entrance test 2022 must fill out the CAT registration form before the deadline by visiting the official website- iimcat.ac.in. However, before commencing with the CAT exam application form filling, candidates are advised to check and fulfill the specified CAT eligibility criteria.

At the time of CAT online form filling, candidates will have to pay the category wise CAT exam application fee of Rs 2300 for General/ Unreserved category and Rs 1150 for candidates belonging to reserved category. Along with the CAT application fee, candidates will have to fill in the past academic qualification details and upload the passport size photograph and signature in CAT exam form 2022.

CAT eligibility criteria 2022

Candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline with the required percentage of marks. Candidates belonging to the Unreserved category need to secure 50 percent marks in total aggregate. There is a relaxation of 5 percent for those candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Those who have completed their professional studies which include (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) are also eligible to apply for the CAT 2022 entrance exam.

Candidates pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to appear for CAT 2022 exam.

How to fill CAT application form 2022
Eligible candidates can refer to the following steps while filling up the CAT 2022 online application form.
Step 1- Log on to the official website of IIM CAT- iimcat.ac.in and click on the “New Registration” tab
Step 2- Now fill in all the required details and generate login credentials which include CAT 2022 login ID and password
Step 3- Now re-login by entering the CAT login credentials and fill out the CAT online application form.
Step 4- Upload the requisite documents in specified size and format
Step 5- Pay the CAT application fee by using a credit/ debit card or net banking details
Step 6- Take a printout of the CAT application form for future reference
After the closing of CAT 2022 online application window, IIM Bangalore will open the CAT 2022 application form correction window. Those candidates who want to edit/ modify their submitted CAT application form can do so by availing of the facility of the CAT correction window. After the closing of the CAT correction window, authorities will issue admit card for the same on October 27.
