CAT 2023 Admit Card Date: Forgot IIM CAT password? Here’s what to do

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will issue the Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) admit card on November 7. Candidates who registered for the CAT 2023 before the deadline will have to mandatorily download the CAT admit card 2023 from the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

The CAT 2023 exam will be conducted on November 26. This year, around 3.3 lakh aspirants have registered for the admission to MBA programmes offered in Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
As per the selection criteria, IIMs give CAT score a certain weightage, previous academic performance and work experience. The CAT 2023 weightage differs for different IIMs.
IIM Bangalore has given 55 percent weightage to CAT 2023 score, while IIM Mumbai gives 55% weightage. IIM Calcutta on the other hand has allotted 30% weightage for CAT 2023 exam score.
CAT 2023 exam will be conducted in three sessions. The first shift starts from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, slot 2 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and slot 3 will be held from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
CAT 2023: What to do if you forgot password
Here are the steps to retrieve the password in case you forgot the password generated during the registration process. Candidates can check their email or SMS to find CAT user ID and password. Steps to retrieve the login credentials in case they lost the email and SMS.
- Visit the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the 'Registered Candidate login for CAT 2023' on the homepage.
- Now, select the 'Forgot User ID/Password' option.
- Enter the registered email address and the captcha code displayed.
- Click on 'Get user id/password'
- The new user ID and password will be sent to the registered email address.
- Login using the new credentials generated.
