CAT 2023 edit window closes today at iimcat.ac.in; exam on November 26

Use NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Lucknow) will close the correction window of the Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) at 5 PM today. Aspirants can edit their details in the CAT 2023 registration form on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
Candidates can login to the student portal using their user id and password. They can then edit particulars such as candidate’s name, date of birth, photograph, photo of signature, test city preference, email address and mobile number will be allowed to edit.
Students have to upload a scanned image of their passport size photo (1,200 pixels x 1,200 pixels) and photo of their signature (80mm X 35mm) in jpg or jpeg format.
As per news reports, around 3.3 lakh aspirants have registered for CAT 2023, a 30% increase from the last year. In 2022, 2.55 lakh aspirants had applied for the CAT entrance exam.
CAT 2023: Exam pattern
The CAT 2023 will be held on November 26. Students will get 120 minutes to answer 66 questions. The question paper will be divided in three section – verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative ability (QA). Candidates will get 40 minutes to attempt one section and they will be not able to switch sections.
The result will be announced in mid January 2024. The CAT 2023 will be applicable for admission to IIMs and other participating B-schools for the academic session 2024-25.
CAT 2023 Application Form: How to make changes
- Visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the existing user tab and enter the login using user id and password
- Candidates CAT form will be displayed on the screen
- Edit and re-upload your images of photo and signature or change the test city preference, as per choice.
- After saving, click on 'I agree’ in the declaration window to confirm the changes and click submit.
