Don’t mug up before the exam: The night before the CAT exam, spend an hour revising important theories, shortcuts and formulas from CAT formula sheet. Don't try to mug up any new topic or solve CAT mock tests. CAT is an aptitude test and if your concepts are clear, you can crack it.

Don’t get stuck on one question: Don’t waste too much time on confusing questions. Solve quickly the easy ones first and then return to the tougher questions. CAT 2023 will be held for 120 minutes and the total number of CAT questions is expected to be 66. So, don't spend more than 1-2 minutes on a question.

Concentrate on yourself: Candidates lose focus and get distracted easily when they sit for the CAT exam. Focus only on yourself and your work. Watching what others are doing will make you lose a lot of time which you can’t afford. Focus only on your CAT paper.

Don’t lose patience while reading the CAT 2023 question paper: Read the CAT question paper very patiently. Rushing through the CAT exam questions to save time can lead to forgetting or misunderstanding what they read. They waste more time by going back over it again.

Don’t panic during CAT exam: CAT 2023 question paper may contain some tricky or confusing questions. Take a deep breath and don’t panic during that situation. Read the question twice, and move on to the next one if not able to solve it. Only solve questions that you can answer accurately.
