Candidates who have successfully registered for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 and paid the application fee will be able to make corrections through the official website, iimcat.ac.in. According to the CAT 2026 application edit deadline, the correction facility will remain available till 5 pm on October 6, 2026.

The correction window will allow candidates to edit only selected details in their submitted CAT 2026 application forms. These include the photograph, signature and test state/city preferences. IIM Indore has said that no further extension will be provided after the correction deadline.
CAT 2026 registration began on August 3, 2026, at 10 am. The CAT registration 2026 deadline was later extended, with the application process closing on September 22, 2026. Candidates who completed CAT registration and fee payment within the prescribed period will be eligible to use the correction facility.

How to make corrections in CAT 2026 application form
Candidates can follow these steps to access their CAT 2026 application edit window :
- Visit the official CAT website at iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the Registered Candidate Login option.
- Enter the CAT 2026 user ID and password.
- Open the application form available on the candidate dashboard.
- Click on the option to edit the application form.
- Make the permitted changes to the photograph, signature or test city preferences.
- Review all the changes carefully.
- Accept the declaration and submit the corrected application form.
- Download and save the updated application confirmation for future reference.
As per the CAT exam date 2026, IIM Indore will conduct exam on November 29 in three sessions. The morning session will be held from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the afternoon session from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and the evening session from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The CAT admit card will be issued on November 4.
