Use NowNEW DELHI, OCTOBER 23: IIM Calcutta will be issuing the online CAT admit card on October 24, from 1 PM onwards. The link to download the hall ticket will remain active until the day of examination. However, it is advisable to download and take a sufficient number of print copies well in advance in order to escape the last minute hassle. The CAT admit card 2018 is a must-have document and all prospective test takers should carry the same at the test centre.

CAT applicants must log in using their CAT 2018 User ID and Password to view/print the Admit Card. It should be noted that no candidates will receive the hard copy of the admit card in their postal address.
All prospective test takers should remember to affix the same uploaded photograph in the physical admit card as mentioned.

1> Spell it right - Candidates should double-check the spelling of one’s name; it is vital as the same name would be used throughout the entire selection tenure. For any rectification, applicants should immediately report to the concerned authority. It is ideal to use the name mentioned on the documents including academic certificate/s, Aadhar Card/Driving License/Passport etc.
2> D-Day - Candidates will be able to view the date of the test on the Admit card of CAT 2018. If the date is not printed or is blurry, one can report the same to the officials. Test takers will be assigned a single session depending on the test centre availability and city preference.
3> Where do you stand - This mentions whether the individual is physically fit or differently abled candidate. There are special provisions for PwD candidates.
4> Find the exact location - The CAT hall ticket/admit card will contain the full address of the test centre one is assigned to. It is suggested that candidates should visit the test centre prior to the test date to understand the exact location. The test centre cannot be altered once allotted.
5> Prime Time - As the exam is scheduled to be conducted in two sessions on Sunday, November 25, 2018; the time slot will be mentioned on the CAT admit card 2018. Candidates can neither change slots nor appear for more than one slot; it will be considered as a fraudulent activity. To ensure that test takers avail single attempt, Admit Cards, Photo IDs, candidate photo, and biometric information will be verified.
The online CAT 2018 exam is scheduled for November 25, to be conducted in two sessions (Forenoon and Afternoon). Around 4,000 seats will be offered through the 20 IIMs for PG management programmes.
