CAT answer key 2024 challenge window closes tomorrow; how is the result prepared?
IIM CAT response sheet 2024 has been uploaded on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. As per the schedule, CAT results 2024 will be declared by the second week of January 2025.
Students can predict their overall performance by using CAT 2024 Percentile Predictor tool before the declaration of the actual result.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will close the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) answer key challenge window tomorrow, December 5. The CAT official answer key PDF download link has been hosted on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Around 2.93 lakh appeared in CAT 2024 this year.
The IIM CAT answer key 2024 was issued on Tuesday and candidates were required to enter their registration number and password to download and challenge the questions. This year, the total number of questions was increased to 68 and there were no parajumbles in the verbal ability section. Overall, the CAT exam 2024 was rated easy compared to the previous year’s exam.
As per the exam was held in three sessions, the institute will use a normalisation method to calculate the CAT score and percentile. Scores obtained by candidates in each section will be normalised to ensure fairness in exam as the difficulty level varies for different slots.

The last date to raise objections against the CAT answer key is December 5 up to 11.55 pm. Along with the CAT answer key, the institute has also uploaded the IIM CAT response sheet of all candidates on the official portal. The CAT results for MBA admission 2024 will be declared by the second week of January.
The selection criteria followed by each IIM is different. After the declaration of CAT results, the list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the respective official websites of IIMs. Each selected candidate will be sent an interview letter to attend further rounds for admission.
Of the 2.93 lakh candidates who appeared for the MBA entrance exam, 1.07 lakh were female candidates, 1.86 lakh were male, and 5 were transgender candidates.
