CBSE has advised all affiliated schools in West Asian countries to upload marks with utmost caution, as no request for correction due to wrong entry or any other reason will be tolerated by the board at a later stage.
Recently, the CBSE board introduced an alternative assessment method for Class 12 students in West Asian countries.
The decision came after reviewing all the difficulties in conducting CBSE board exams 2026 in the West Asian countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE
As per the CBSE guidelines, the board has introduced a comprehensive framework that groups students based on how many board exams they were able to take. Students who appeared for all their exams will get their results calculated traditionally, based entirely on their board exam performance.

But students who missed some of the board exams will have their results prepared based on their school assessments. This includes marks from tests like quarterly exams, half-yearly exams, and pre-board exams held during the academic session.
“It is imperative that the uploading process is completed within the stipulated schedule. Strict compliance with the above timeline is expected,” the official CBSE notice said.
