Under the new evaluation process, the Class 10 results for CBSE-affiliated schools in the Middle East will be calculated based on the exams students have already appeared for, with the average of their best-performing subjects for the subjects whose exams have not been held.
CBSE had first postponed the exams for both Class 10 and 12 students due to the escalating regional tensions. As the situation worsened, the board decided to cancel all the board exams across the Middle East countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
CBSE board exams 2026 for Class 10th were held from February 17 to 28. The exams conducted during this period were as follows.

The board will also announce a new assessment scheme for the CBSE 12th board 2026 results for the affected students. CBSE board 12 exams were cancelled between March 16 and April 10.
According to the CBSE’s official notice, based on several cases, the board has formulated the following assessment criteria for each affected student.
Notably, students who appeared for only one or two subjects, particularly those from previous batches who registered for limited papers, will have their results prepared based on their available performance. However, if they missed any exam, they can take it in the newly introduced second board examination cycle for the academic year 2026-27.
Furthermore, students from these Middle-East countries who shifted their exam centres to another country will have their results declared based on their performance in the examinations.
“Result prepared using assessment scheme will be final. No special examination will be conducted in any circumstances except the examinations conducted by CBSE as per its declared policy,” the official CBSE notice adds.
CBSE board Class 10th result 2026 for Middle-East students will be declared along with the results of other students.
