NEW DELHI: The CBSE Class 12 geography exam will be conducted today, March 2 between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The geography exam for Class 12 will be held for total marks of 70. The question paper pattern will be in line with the sample paper provided at the official website -- cbseacademic.ac.in.

As per the CBSE Class 12 exam timings, students will have to reach the exam centre at 10 am. Students will get 10 minutes question paper reading time. According to CBSE 2023 exam dress code, regular students will have to wear school uniforms and private students ca appear for the board exams wearing light clothes.
The CBSE Class 12 geography question paper will be divided into four sections -- A ,B,C and D. As per the CBSE Class 12 geography sample paper pattern, in section A, question number 1 to 17 will be MCQ type questions.
Section B from question number 18 to 23, the CBSE sample paper suggests will be held for short answer type questions where students will be required to answer them in 80 to 100 words. Questions 18 and 19 will comprise of source based questions.
Section C would comprise four questions and students will be required to answer them in between 120 to 150 words. Section D questions will be map-based questions.
CBSE exam checklist
- Carry CBSE 12th admit card
- Carry pen, pencil, ruler
- Carry school id card
- Do not carry objectionable articles
- Carrying mobile phones, bluetooth devices will not be allowed
- Papers, notebooks, scribble pads are not allowed inside the examination hall
