CBSE to announce JEE Main 2018 Result today!

NEW DELHI, APRIL 30: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the result of JEE Main on April 30, 2018. Candidates who have attempted the online and offline examination of JEE Main Paper I will be able to access their scores through the result which will be announced in online mode. Along with the scores, the All India rank, category rank and qualifying status will also be made available. The result will be announced in the official website of JEE Main 2018. It is to be noted that the result of JEE Main Paper II will be published separately on May 31.

Procedure to Check JEE Main Result

The candidates can follow the simple steps to check their result. The score card will be also be available for download along with the result. It is important to download the score card and print it out since it has to be produced at the further admission process.

Step 1 – The link to the result will be available in the official JEE Main website

Step 2 – JEE Main 2018 roll number and date of birth has to be submitted.

Step 3 – The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4 – The score card has to be downloaded.

  • Date of Birth
  • Roll number
  • Name of the parents
  • Category and Nationality
  • State Code of Eligibility
  • Subject-wise Obtained Scores
  • Total Marks Obtained
  • All India Rank (AIR)
  • Category Rank
  • Cutoff for JEE Advanced 2018

The  cutoff of JEE Main will be released along with the result. Candidates will be able to check the cutoff to know if they are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2018 or not. The cutoff for the present year is expected to be similar to the previous session.

What next after JEE Main Result?

Firstly, candidates have qualified for JEE Advanced 2018, should apply for the examination and start their preparation for the same. JEE Advanced offers admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by IITs. The top 2,24,000 JEE Main qualified candidates will have to fill and submit the JEE Advanced application form which will be available on May 2, 2018.

Not appearing for JEE Advanced but interested in NITs, IIITs?

Joint Seat Allocation Authority JoSAA will conduct common counselling for IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs from June 19 tentatively. Allotment will be done according to the ranks and preferences selected during JoSAA registration.
