Apply NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 economics exam today, March 17. The exam for the CBSE Class 12 economics paper will be held from 10:30 am for a duration of three hours till 1:30 pm. The format of the question paper for the CBSE Class 12 exams 2023 will likely be as per the sample paper provided at cbse.gov.in website. CBSE Class 12 Economics LIVE
Students appearing for the examination will be required to carry their CBSE Class 12 admit card to the exam centre and students will have to adhere to all guidelines mentioned on the admit card.
As per the CBSE 2023 economics sample paper pattern, there will be a total of 34 questions in the question paper and students will be required to answer all of them.
The CBSE Class 12 economics question paper will contain two sections -- Section A, or macroeconomics, and Section B, or Indian economic development.
The economics question paper will contain 20 multiple choice questions of one mark each and four short answer type questions of three marks each to be answered in 60 to 80 words.
The economics paper, as per the CBSE Class 12 sample paper would also contain six short answer questions type questions of four marks each to be answered in 80 to 100 words and four long answer questions type questions of six marks each to be answered in 100 to 150 words.
