Apply NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced changes in CBSE Class 12 accountancy answer book. The board has decided to do away with the printed tables in the accountancy answer book.
“It is informed that from Board Examination, 2024 CBSE based on feedback received from stakeholders has decided to do away with the Answer Books wherein tables were provided in the subject of Accountancy. From Examinations-2024, normal lines Answer Books as provided in other subjects in Class XII will be provided in Accountancy subject also,” the latest letter addressed to all CBSE principals read.
The Class 12 accountancy question paper contains 34 questions divided into two parts. All questions in Part A are compulsory and Part B has two options - analysis of financial statements and computerised accounting.

CBSE Class 12 accounting marking scheme
There are no overall choices, however, an internal choice has been provided in 7 questions of one mark, 2 questions of three marks, 1 question of four marks, and 2 questions of six marks. Here’s the details of marks assigned question number-wise for accountancy paper.
