CBSE Board Exams 2026: Evaluation Process

CBSE has introduced on-screen marking for evaluating Class 12 board exam answer sheets. However, it clarified that Class 10 answer scripts will continue to be checked in physical mode only.

The board has introduced on-screen marking of answer scripts to reduce the time required to transport answer books to evaluation centres in physical form.

Furthermore, CBSE has also announced that it will conduct the Class 10 board examinations twice a year starting in 2026 for more than 20 lakh students. The first phase was held from February 17 to March 11, while the second phase will take place from May 5 to May 20.
