Download NowNEW DELHI: As per the Central Board of secondary education (CBSE), class 10 and 12 board examination date sheet is likely to be released in November. Officials said that the board will return to pre-covid timetable. On release, students will be able to download class 10, 12 time table from the official website- cbse.gov.in.

Although the official dates have not been issued yet, prior to covid-19, CBSE would release the class 10 and 12 date sheet about three months before the examinations. The CBSE class 10 and 12 theory exams are expected to begin from February 15, 2023. The tentative date sheet for the practical examinations in winter bound schools is scheduled from November 15 to December 14, 2022. The tentative schedule for practical examinations for regular session school students is from January 1 to February 10, 2023.

The board is currently aiming to end Class 10 exams by mid-March or latest by end of March. However, the class 12 exams are likely to be extended till mid-April. The exam timings will be from 9 am to 12:30 pm. CBSE has also switched back to its annual test system and decided against the term-based syllabus. The students will have to cover the entire year's syllabus this time.
A few days ago, a fake date sheet for the class 12 exams went viral in several WhatsApp groups. CBSE controller of examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj, clarified that the date sheet being circulated on WhatsApp was ‘fake’ and ‘not official’. This fake date sheet said that the class 12 examinations would begin from February 15, 2023 and would end on April 9, 2023. Even though these dates coincide with the tentative dates given by the board, CBSE official Rama Sharma stated that the board was yet to release the official date sheets.
