CBSE Class 10, 12 compartment 2024 exams today for 2.5 lakh students; exam timings, guidelines

Apply NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 compartment exams from today. The CBSE Class 12 compartment exams 2024 will be held for all subjects in a single day, however, CBSE Class 10 supplementary exams 2024 will continue till July 22. Students who have registered for the CBSE compartment exams 2024 will have to carry the admit card and school ID to the exam hall.
As per the exam timings, the CBSE Class 10, 12 compartment exams 2024 will be held between 10.30 am to 1.30 pm, and the test will conclude at 12.30 pm for some subjects. Today, Class 10 students will be appearing for the social science paper.

According to the eligibility criteria, CBSE Class 10 students will be able to improve scores in two subjects and Class 12 students will be allowed to improve score in one subject. Those who were declared pass by replacing 6th or 7th subject will also be allowed to appear in the failed subject. Students who have been declared pass in all subjects but have applied for improvement in subjects will also be taking the exam today.
The board informed that the students will be given 15 minutes reading time and warned students of strict action if found to be using unfair means to clear the exam. They have also been instructed to carry the CBSE admit card 2024 for the compartment exam 2024.
