NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the CBSE Class 10 maths exam today. With this, Class 10 students end their CBSE board exam 2023. Students can check the Class 10 maths exam review here.

The CBSE maths exam today was held for 80 marks. The mathematics standard paper had four sections – Section A, B, C, and D whereas mathematics basic paper had five sections – Section A, B, C, D, and E.

Talking about the CBSE maths paper review, MDPS Raj Nagar extension, TGT mathematics, Sadhvi Parashar, said: "Today's class 10 CBSE Mathematics exam paper was catering to the need of all section of the students. Some tricky questions and competency based questions were making the students apply the acquired knowledge."

She further added, that the paper was well balanced and planned in such a way that those who have followed NCERT will be able to perform well.

While speaking on the CBSE Class 10 maths paper analysis, CMR National Public School, Head of School, Swati Soni, said: "The grade 10 CBSE Mathematics paper held today has mixed reactions. For the standard maths paper, the multiple choice questions were very simple and direct and with assertion-reason questions completely related to complete knowledge of concepts. The questions in Section B were also very easy, directly from the textbook."

"Section C and D had a good mix of questions with varying complexity. The complete paper was designed to test students' understanding of the mathematical concepts and their ability to apply them to various situations. Overall, the question paper had a right mix of questions of varying complexity making each student perform to the best of their capacity."

Adding further to the analysis, she said that the questions in the basic Maths paper on the contrary were very easy to comprehend and answer. All sections had questions which were fairly easy to interpret and calculate. The paper was balanced and one who practiced NCERT well, could easily answer all questions. Overall, the paper was not very challenging with a simple and uncomplicated format.

According to the students, Most of them found the paper to be easy and balanced. Overall, basic mathematics paper was easy and based on NCERT with a steady approach for all kind of students. Standard mathematics paper was also balanced with very few analytical questions.
