CBSE Class 10 result 2025 not expected this week, 'confirms' Board amid ruckus over result date

NEW DELHI: Amid an ongoing commotion over declaration of CBSE Class 10 results 2025, the Central Board of Secondary Education has refuted claims that the CBSE 10th result 2025 will be declared today, May 2. Several media reports suggested that the board might announce results today or in the next few days.

Earlier today, a board official confirmed that the CBSE Class 10 result will not be declared today and the CBSE result 2025 date has not been finalised yet, as per an Indian Express report.

CBSE recently denied rumors that the CBSE Board result 2025 will be out on May 2 on the official websites, cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in after panic-stricken candidates raised concerns, urging the board to issue a clarification.

There’s no update on CBSE website too on the announcement or date of CBSE results 2025. Usually, the CBSE Class 10th result 2025 is declared in mid of May. Last year, the board declared CBSE Class 10 results on May 13.

It is expected that the board will announce CBSE 10th, 12th results 2025 together for more than 44 lakh students. CBSE result 2025 10th will be published for 24,12,072 candidates who took exams for five subjects including English, mathematics, science, social science, and language along with a sixth optional subject.

CBSE Class 10 board exams 2025 were held from February 15 to March 18. Most of the high school papers were rated easy to moderate except Hindi which turned out to be moderately difficult.

Notably, PhysicsWallah’s founder Alakh Pandey claimed that the board question papers will have “his questions” leading to a row over CBSE paper leak, following which the board asked examinees and parents to remain vigilant against false social media claims regarding access to Class 10, 12 question papers.
