NEET PG Answer Key 2026 LIVE: NBEMS response sheet shortly at natboard.edu.in; result date, counselling dates

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will publish the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 answer key along with the candidate’s recorded responses for more than 2.65 lakh MD, MS aspirants. The NEET PG answer key and the response sheet download link will be available on the NBEMS’s official website at natboard.edu.in.

Candidates will be able to access the NEET PG 2026 response sheet and answer key pdf through the official portal using their login credentials such as application number and password.

Notably, this will be the first time that the NBEMS will publish the NEET PG answer key, along with the candidates recorded responses. The announcement was done last year, following the Supreme Court’s judgement over the transparency of the post MBBS medical examination.

NEET PG 2026: Marking scheme, result date

The NBEMS will also issue the question ID numbers, correct answers, candidates’ recorded/ marked responses, and score awarded for each question.

Furthermore, a re-exam for NEET PG 2026 was also held on September 5 for candidates who were affected by the exam cancellation at Jaipur centre.

The medical board will publish the NEET PG 2026 result on September 30 and to qualify the post MBBS examination, general and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates will have to score 50th percentile, while general person with disability (PwD) will have to secure 45th percentile.

Those in the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, must obtain 40th percentile to clear the NEET PG 2026 exam.

As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given 4 marks for each correct answer key, and one mark will be deducted for each wrong response. No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.

• Go to the official website at natboard.edu.in.
• On the homepage, click on the NEET PG 2026 answer key link.
• A new window will open.
• Enter login details such as application ID and password.
• Press the submit icon.
• NEET PG 2026 answer key, response sheet pdf will be available to open.
• Check your question IDs, correct answers, and recorded responses.
• Download the answer key and recorded response.

The NEET PG 2026 examination was held on August 30 for admission to MD, MS and PG diploma programmes at government and private medical institutions.
