CBSE Class 12 datesheet circulating on social media is fake: Board official confirms

NEW DELHI: A fake document of the CBSE Class 12 date sheet has been circulating on social media platforms. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Controller of Exams Sanyam Bhardwaj told Careers360, "the Class 12 timetable circulating on WhatsApp is fake."

The CBSE Board has not released the official board exam datesheet on their website. The circulated "date sheet" on WhatsApp states that the CBSE Class 12 exam 2023 will start with English on February 15, 2023 and will end on April 9 with language subjects. It also said that the Class 10, 12 exams 2023 will be held in two shifts; morning shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, while afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Students are advised to check the official notification CBSE’s official website cbse.gov.in for latest updates on board exams. As of now, the Class 10 and 12 board examinations are expected to begin on February 15, 2023.

CBSE has also released Class 10 and 12 subject-wise sample papers on mathematics, science, English, physics, chemistry, social science, Sanskrit, computer application, geography and home science on CBSE's website. The new paper pattern of the exam has 25 percent objective and 75 percent subjective for both CBSE Class 10 and 12.
