NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 12 term 2 Economics exam 2022 was balanced and CBSE sample paper pattern was followed, according to teachers. The board conducted the term 2 Economics exam for 2 hours. The CBSE term 2 exam commenced at 10:30 am and concluded at 12:30 pm.

Students were able to complete the exam on time and the question paper had easy to moderate difficulty level, as per teachers’ analysis. Sunita Dey, PGT- Economics, Modern English School, Guwahati said, “the pattern and the difficulty level of the question paper was very similar to that of the CBSE sample paper, hence the questions included in the question paper had easy to moderate difficulty level,”.

“In macro economics, the questions were meant to test the basic understanding of concepts and application. In the Indian Economic Development part, most of the questions reflected the current issues & challenges of the Indian economy. The paper was balanced and was a perfect combination of basic understanding and application of concepts”, she said.

However, students on social media alleged that question number 12 was wrong and grace marks should be given to students. A Twitter user wrote: CBSE class 12 economics paper was very badly formed. The question 12 was wrong and therefore grace marks should be given to each and every student. It not only made them panic since the values wasn’t adding up but also wasted their crucial time redoing it.
