CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026 Feb 26 LIVE: Geography paper today; analysis with answer key, instructions

Carrying the CBSE Class 12 admit card 2026 is mandatory, and candidates without it will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Private candidates can download the admit card by following these steps:

• Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in
• Click on the link for “Admit Card – Private Candidates 2026”
• Enter required details such as application number, previous roll number, or candidate name
• Click on Submit
• The admit card will appear on the screen
• Download and print the admit card for exam use

Students must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time to complete verification and seating formalities smoothly.

Allocate time wisely — avoid spending too long on map work or lengthy answers. Keep the last 10–15 minutes to review your answer sheet and ensure all map questions are properly labeled and completed.

Start with questions you are most confident about. Write answers in points with proper headings. Use diagrams and flowcharts wherever possible to improve presentation and clarity.

Map-based questions are expected to play a key role in tomorrow’s CBSE Class 12 Geography exam. Students should revise India and World map locations, including major ports, mineral belts, industrial regions, and international trade routes. Accurate labeling and neat presentation can fetch full marks.

Chapters from Human Geography, such as Population, Migration, Human Settlements, and Transport & Communication, are considered high-weightage. Case-study based and assertion-reason questions may appear from these units.

Candidates should reach the exam centre 30–45 minutes before reporting time and carry their CBSE-issued admit card. Entry after the reporting time will not be permitted. Question papers and answer sheets will be distributed 15 minutes before the exam, and students must use the reading time to carefully review questions and fill in required details.

The Class 12 Geography paper carries 100 marks, including 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical/project work. To pass CBSE Board Exams 2026, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject and clear theory and practical components separately, with a minimum Grade D.

The CBSE will conduct the Class 12 Geography exam on February 26 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm in a single morning shift. Students must report by 9:30 am, as entry to centres will close at 10:00 am. A 15-minute reading time will be provided from 10:15 am to 10:30 am before writing begins.
