CBSE to hold webinar on ‘Cyberhygiene Campaign’ for schools to tackle cybercrimes, online scams

NEW DELHI: Taking steps against the increasing cybercrimes and online scams, the Central Board of Secondary Education has directed the affiliated schools to promote awareness to fight against the menace.
The board with the support of the Indian cybercrime coordination centre (14C) under the ministry of home affairs, government of India, will conduct a ‘Cyberhygiene Campaign’ webinar on ‘Shielding your Digital Life: Cybersecurity as a part of school education ’.
“All Principals/Hends of schools affiliated CBSE are requested to encourage participation of teachers, students and other stakeholders in the webinar,” the CBSE said.

The webinar is scheduled to be conducted on April 11 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm online and through live streaming mode. Nishant Kumar, director of the Indian cyber crime coordination centre (14C) will hold a talk at the seminar through a YouTube channel of training unit, CBSE.

To promote students well-being and holistic development, recently, the CBSE also conducted a career and psychological counselling webinar series for affiliated schools, teachers, principals, counsellors and students.
