NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will open the application correction portal for the List of Candidates (LOC) 2025 data from tomorrow, April 9, 2025. Schools will be able to access the CAMC portal to make corrections in candidate details such as names, date of birth, parent information, and other select fields.
“Along with this, four reminder letters dated 30.09.2024, 01.10.2024, 02.10.2024, 03.10.2024 and 04.10.2024 were also issued to Schools with the instructions for the correct filling of LOC data. Despite repeated instructions, many schools have submitted wrong data and have thereafter requested the Board for various corrections in candidates' particulars,” the official notice said.
The board has asked schools to upload a single PDF containing the admission form, admission withdrawal register, and transfer certificate (if applicable) to support the correction requests. The last date to make corrections in the CBSE LOC data 2025 is April 17.
CBSE has informed schools that all previous correction requests can now be re-submitted through the CAMC portal. If a request is rejected, no further changes will be allowed. Only minor corrections will be permitted, and complete name changes of candidates or parents are not allowed. As per the official notice, a processing fee of Rs 1,000 per candidate will be charged for regular candidates, to be deposited with the concerned regional office.
