CBSE to Release Class 10 and 12 Exam Dates on May 18

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the final exam schedule for Class 10 and 12 on May 18. Earlier, the exam schedule is about to be released on May 16, 2020 at 5 P.M.

The minister of human resource development, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, said “CBSE is taking into consideration some additional technical aspects before finalizing the date sheets of Class 10 and 12 board exams, due to which, the date sheets will now be released by Monday i.e. May 18, 2020.”

Earlier, he announced that the exams will be held between July 1 to July 15.

The CBSE, on March 18, had rescheduled all examinations of Classes 10 and 12 scheduled between March 19 to March 31 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic.

Class 10 exams are only being held for students in northeast Delhi as communal riots back in February had forced the CBSE to postpone exams in these centres.

CBSE, on April 1, had already instructed schools to promote all students between Classes 1 to 8 without conducting examinations. The central government had given similar directions for Classes 9 and 11.

It is also advised to not get trapped in the fake news.
