CBSE releases CTET 2018 admit card; download till December 9

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 22 : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit card of CTET on November 22. CTET admit card has been released in online mode. The downloading of CTET admit card can be done by visiting the official website - ctet.nic.in and using the login credentials - registration number and password generated during the filling of application form. Candidates can download the admit card till the day of CTET 2018 exam, ie: December 9. CTET admit card reflects all the necessary details related to the candidates and the examination such as name, photograph, roll number, exam date and time, exam centre etc.
Candidates must check all the details available on the admit card. In case any discrepancy is found in the admit card, candidates must promptly report it to the examination authority and get the it corrected. Candidates can download the admit card and get at least two copies printed once they ascertain that all the details mentioned on the CTET admit card are correct.
Candidates must carry their respective admit card to the exam centre on the day of exam. Along with the CTET admit card, candidates must also carry one of the prescribed photo identity proofs - Aadhar card, Voter ID card, PAN card, Passport, Driving license, Employee ID card and College/University ID proof. No candidate will be permitted to appear for the exam without the admit card of CTET and the prescribed photo ID proof.
CTET 2018 will be conducted by CBSE in offline mode for two papers - paper I (for classes 1 to 5) and paper II (for classes 6 to 8). The exam will be conducted to shortlisted eligible candidates for teaching in classes 1 to 8. Both papers - paper I and II will be held for 2.30 hours in which they have to answer 150 objective questions of 1 mark each. Candidates will be tested on their knowledge on Child Development and Pedagogy, Social Studies, Environmental Science and command over Language and Mathematics. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks and the cut off score determined by the examination authority will be considered TET qualified.
