CBSE releases UGC NET admit card 2018; download till July 8

NEW DELHI, June 2018: Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has released the admit card for UGC NET 2018 on June 21. Candidates can download the admit card in online mode till July 8. In order to download UGC NET 2018 admit card , candidates have to enter their application number and password as no admit card will be send to the candidates by post. The admit card is an important document and candidates without possessing it will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
After downloading the hall ticket, candidates are advised to check all the details reflecting on it. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must contact the conducting authority.
The admit card of UGC NET contains details like candidate’s name, photograph and signature, category , address of the allotted examination centre, date of birth, father's name, date & timing of exam and exam day instructions. Candidates must read these instructions very carefully.

UGC NET is conducted twice a year so far (In July and December every year), however, from 2018 the exam may be conducted just once in a year. UGC NET is conducted for determining the eligibility for the recruitment of candidates as Assistant Professors in universities and colleges across India or awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to them. Around 7 to 10 lakh candidates appear in this exam every year.
