NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued guidelines for conducting internal assessment and project exams with supplementary exams 2024. The board is conducting CBSE supplementary practical exams 2024 from July 5 to July 15.
The board said that as per provisions of scheme of studies or examination bye-laws, internal assessment or project exams are also required to be conducted for students appearing for CBSE supplementary exams.
CBSE informed that marks of candidates who are "RP" (Repeat in Practical) in internal assessment subject will be uploaded for them by the parent school. For candidates who are RP in project subjects, the project will be evaluated and marks will be uploaded at the respective examination centres only. The regional directors or officers may appoint external examiners for evaluation of projects at the respective centres itself.
“Such activities may be completed by the end of Supplementary Examinations, 2024 of the respective classes,” the board added.
As per the CBSE practical exam guidelines for supplementary candidates issued earlier, the practical exams of regular students will be conducted in their schools while private candidates will have to appear for exams in the centres fixed for theory exams. Students were asked to contact their schools or exam centre by July 5 with a copy of their result or admit card. Candidates are advised to report to the exam centre on time.
CBSE asked schools and examination centres where practical exams are being conducted to upload the marks awarded to the candidates on the portal the same day. “The marks once uploaded shall be deemed final and no request for any change in the same will be accepted,” it stated.
