NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the CBSE term 2 exams for Class 10, 12 from April 26, 2022. The CBSE board has also announced to host a webinar on the modalities for conduct of CBSE term 2 exams 2022 tomorrow, April 25. Meanwhile, a large section of students have been still demanding to cancel board exams amid a spike in Covid-19 cases in the country.

The board has also announced the CBSE syllabus 2022-23 on the official website. Students and teachers will be able to access the syllabi for Classes 9 to 12 from the official website, cbseacademic.nic.in.

The webinar, which is scheduled to be held on April 25, will explain about the preparations for CBSE term 2 exams and the role and responsibilities of functionaries, said the latest notification.

CBSE term 2 guidelines

CBSE Class 10, 12 students must also note the exam day guidelines issued by the board before appearing for the final term exams. As per the guidelines, only 18 students will be allowed to sit in one classroom. It is mandatory for students to bring the CBSE admit card 2022 to the examination hall. They are also advised to reach the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the reporting time and strictly adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines.

Cancel CBSE term 2 exams

While the board prepares for conducting the CBSE term 2 exams offline, students apprehensive about the Covid-19 4th wave continue to protest against the offline board exams on social media.

A student wrote on Twitter, “This is a huge disappointment from cbse boards for 2022 batch as they aren't coming to any conclusions regarding cancellation. The cases of Covid is increasing day by day and 4th wave is also a concern.”

Raising concerns over the heat wave and Covid-19 cases, a student said, “During the summers it is not possible to wear mask and sit for 2 hr examination amidst the ongoing covid.”

Students have also been demanding to take internal assessment marks instead of term 2 or to conduct exams in MCQ format like term 1.
