NEW DELHI JUNE 10: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi has announced the round 3 of CCMT seat allotment in online mode. Candidates can check their allotment by log-in their account using their GATE registration ID and password. Earlier, NIT Delhi had announced two rounds of allotments on May 19 and 28 respectively. Authorities will be conducting three rounds of CCMT seat allotment along with a national spot round. The seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s performance in GATE, choices preferred and availability of seats. Candidates will have to pay seat acceptance fee once the seat is allotted to them. Along with the seat acceptance fee, candidates need to report at their respective institute for documents verification and for other admission related formalities to confirm their admission.

How to check CCMT round 3 allotment

Follow the mentioned below steps to check the allotment of seats:

  • Visit the official website
  • Log-in to the account by using their GATE registration ID and password.
  • The status of allotment will be displayed on the screen.
  • Apart from the status, shortlisted candidates will be able to access and download their allotment letter.

Next step after seat allotment

All the shortlisted candidates will have to physically report to their allotted institutes for document verification and Payment of the balance fees. In case candidates fail to report to their allotted institutes, their seat will be cancelled. Such candidates will be returned their seat acceptance and confirmation fee after a deduction of Rs. 1000.

Documents for Verification

Candidates need to carry mentioned below original documents along with a set of the photocopy to the notified venue.

  • Provisional seat allotment letter of CCMT
  • Print out of registration form and choices locked
  • Proof of seat acceptance fee payment
  • Scorecard of GATE (self-attested)
  • Photo ID proof
  • Birth certificate issued by a competent authority/10th standard (High School) board certificate as proof of date of birth.
  • Marksheet of class XII
  • Grade/marksheet of qualifying examination of all semesters.
  • Degree/provisional certificate (if a degree is completed)
  • Conduct, transfer and course completion certificate from the Head of the institute last attended.
  • Migration certificate from the last institute attended
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Persons with Disability Certificate (if applicable)
  • Three colour passport size photograph

What is National Spot Round?

After the conclusion of Round 3 allotment, authorities will conduct National Spot Round of CCMT. For this round, candidates will have to register again on July 4. While registering, candidates will have to fill their choices of institutes and courses and pay the fee. Candidates who have withdrawn or not reported to any reporting centre in the earlier rounds for verification of allotment will be eligible for this. Apart from them, candidates who were selected but their allotment was cancelled due to failure to fulfill some eligibility criteria will still be eligible for NSR. In case candidates have not registered for the previous three rounds they can participate in this round.
