NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will release the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) and Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2023 cut-off for Part A today, February 9, 2023.

Once the CEED, UCEED cut-off 2023 is out, it will be available for download on the official websites- ceed.iitb.ac.in and uceed.iitb.ac.in respectively.

Recently, IIT Bombay released the mean and standard deviation for Part A. The mean and standard deviation for CEED 2023 are 22.59 and 11.82, respectively. And the mean and standard deviation for UCEED 2023 are 57.63 and 24.52, respectively.

Candidates who will score the minimum CEED, UCEED 2023 cut-off will be selected for the next rounds of the admission process. Part B of the cut-off will be evaluated only if the candidate has qualified for Part A.

Aspiring students are required to secure a minimum cut-off to gain admission for BDes and MDes courses at IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Delhi, Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur and IISc Bangalore.

The CEED and UCEED cut-off varies from programme to programme and among the institutes as well. The factors that determine the cut-off include the difficulty level of the exam, the performance of the candidates in the exam, the total number of candidates appearing in the exam, the number of seat intake and cutoff trends of the previous year.
