Central University of Karnataka admission through CUET 2022 begins soon; fees

NEW DELHI: The Central University of Karnataka will soon begin the admission process for various UG courses through CUET UG 2022. Candidates can register online through the official CUK-SAMARTH portal - cuk.ac.in.

‘Admission to various UG programmes will be held in online mode through CUK SAMARTH portal. Any other mode shall not be accepted. Candidates who are willing to take admission and confident of continuing in the programme shall require to register on the SAMARTH admission portal,’ reads the official notification.

While applying for the CUK UG admission 2022, candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee in online mode. For General, OBC (Non-creamy layer), EWS, the application fee is Rs 500. For the female – (General, OBC, EWS) the application fee is Rs 250, while for SC, ST, PwD, it is Rs 100.

The total number of seats available for each course is 40. The admissions will be based on the CUET UG scores only. For the courses, B.Tech. in electronics and communication and B.Tech. in electrical engineering, 50% of seats will be filled on the basis of CUET UG scores . The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled on the basis of performance in JEE–Main exam.

The university will release the merit list of the selected candidates on the university website. The final seat allotment will be done after the physical verification of the documents at the university.

CUET UG result 2022 was announced on September 16. The CUET 2022 result for UG is available on the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
