CEPT University announces admissions to MTech, MArch, MPlan via GATE 2026 scores

CEPT University will admit students with valid GATE 2026 scores to its 13 postgraduate programmes for the upcoming academic year.
The CEPT University, Ahmedabad has announced admissions for its postgraduate programmes in MTech, MArch and MPlan through GATE 2026 scores. The university, ranked 6th in the NIRF architecture and planning category, will also admit students without a GATE 2026 score through its computer-based CEPT PG Test.
The university will accept valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores for admission to its 13 PG courses for the academic year 2026-27.
Eligible candidates will be given admission to PG programmes at CEPT University on the basis of their entrance test scores or GATE marks, and a personal interview.
Moreover, final selection will be done on the basis of academic performance, test scores, interview performance, and other relevant achievements, according to an official statement.
CEPT University MTech Admissions 2026
Students holding a graduation degree in the field of architecture, civil engineering, environmental engineering, planning, construction, and related disciplines are eligible to apply for PG programmes.
The university offers various PG courses in different fields, such as the faculty of architecture at CEPT hosts courses in architectural history and research, architectural tectonics, conservation and regeneration, housing design, interior design, and landscape architecture.
“The Faculty of Planning offers specialized programs in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Urban Infrastructure, and Urban Transport Systems, focusing on the systems and policies that guide the development and management of cities,” the university said.
The faculty of technology offers courses in building energy performance, construction engineering and management, and structural engineering design.
The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is expected to declare the GATE 2026 results for admission to various PG programmes on March 19.
