NEW DELHI: The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute has declared the CFA level 1 result for February 2025, today, April 3. Candidates, who appeared for the written test, can download results by using their login credentials such as email ID and password through the official website at cfainstitute.org.
The institute has declared the CFA level 1 result along with the passion percentage. Around 19,848 candidates appeared for the CFA level 1 exam, out of which 45% have cleared the exam.
Candidates can download the CFA Level 1 February 2025 scorecards online using their login credentials. Candidates should score minimum passing score (MPS) as approved by the board of governors. However, candidates who score less than the MPS will not be deemed qualified for the exam. Candidates who score above the MPS will be deemed qualified in the exam.
The CFA level 1 exams were held from February 17 to 23 at one of 482 proctored computer-based examination centres located in 390 cities in 109 markets worldwide. The institute will announce the CFA level 3 results on April 22.

Chris Wiese, CFA, Managing Director, Education, CFA Institute, said: “I note that February’s Level I candidates had a passing rate notably above the 10-year average of 40 percent. In line with previous cohorts, first-time testers fared best, with an overall pass rate of 52 percent. Test takers with at least one deferral behind them had a passing rate of 30 percent. Again, we encourage candidates to stay on schedule, if at all possible.”
Candidates, who have cleared the CFA level 1 exam for February 2025 session, will now progress to level 2 of the CFA programme. The registration for August 2025 level 2 exams is open, as per the notice on the official website.
"Beginning with the February 2025 CFA Program exams, candidates will now receive an enhanced score report that includes a scale score – an overall numeric result that enables candidates to see how well they performed compared to the Minimum Passing Score, the institute said.
