CGBSE 10th and 12th Board Result 2018 Declared, Girls Outperform Boys

NEW DELHI, MAY 9: Chhattisgarh Board Of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has announced the results of Class 10 and 12 examination on May 9, 2018. The Overall pass percentage for class 12th is 77% whereas pass percentage in class 10 is 68.04%. In 10th class, the overall pass percentage of boys is 66 whereas it is 69.40 among girls. Similarly, in class 12th, the pass percentage for boys stands at 74.45 whereas it is 79.40 for girls.

Yagyesh Chauhan has topped the Chhattisgarh class 10 exam with 98.33%. Shiv kumar Pandey bagged first position in class 12 examination with 98.40%. Candidates who had appeared for Chhattisgarh class 10th and 12th exam can check their results online. To check class 10th and 12th result, candidates will have to enter their roll number.

As per news reports, in 2018, more than 6.7 lakh students had registered for the class 10 and 12 board examination in Chhattisgarh. A total of 4,42,060 students had registered for Class 10 and 2,79,906 students registered for Class 12 examinations. In 2018, CGBSE conducted its class 10th examination from March 5 to March 28, while the Class 12th examination was commenced from March 7 to April 2.

CGBSE or Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education is a board of school education in Chhattisgarh. CGBSE looks after development and promotion of secondary education in the state. The board conducts several examinations including High School leaving certificate exam, and Higher Secondary School leaving certificate exam. CGBSE is also responsible for declaring the results for the same.
