SSC CGL 2025 tier 1 answer key challenge window closes today

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) tier-1 answer key 2025 challenge window today, October 21. Candidates can object to the provisional tier 1 answer keys on the official website, ssc.gov.in , till 11 am.

Notably, the commission has reduced the SSC CGL 2025 answer key challenge fee to Rs 50 from Rs 100 to ease the financial burden on candidates.

As per the SSC CGL 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be given one mark for each correct answer, and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. However, the raw marks obtained by the candidates will not be used for shortlisting.

The commission has implemented the equi-percentile normalization method to prevent any potential advantage or disadvantage caused by differences in difficulty levels across various CGL exam shifts.

SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2025

SSC conducted the CGL tier 1 exam 2025 for over 13 lakh candidates from September 12 to 26, and a re-exam was held in 44 centres on October 14 for those who faced technical difficulties at their exam centre. A total of 14,582 group B and C posts are offered for recruitment across various government departments.

The commission has also launched an official X account , @SSC_GoI, for candidates to keep themselves updated with accurate information regarding the SSC exams.

Along with the CGL answer key, the commission has also published the response sheet and the question paper for candidates. The CGL question paper has been uploaded strictly for personal use and self-analysis only.

SSC CGL tier 1 results 2025 will be prepared after scrutinising the answer key objections raised by candidates. Candidates will require their login details to download the SSC CGL tier 1 results 2025.
