CGPSC SSE 2024: Registration begins from December 1; prelims on February 9

NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has officially announced the schedule for the State Service Examination 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the CGPSC 2024 application form by visiting the official website, psc.cg.gov.in. The CGPSC 2024 registration will commence on December 1 at 12:00 noon. As per the official notice, there are a total of 246 vacancies.

As per the official notice, the CGPSC 2024 SSE registration deadline is December 30, 2024, 11:59 pm. The CGPSC 2024 selection process comprises three stages- prelims, Main exam, and interview. Candidates who qualify at each stage will proceed to the next.

CGPSC 2024: Form correction window

Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their submitted CGPSC 2024 application form without any charges from December 31 to January 2 until 11:59 pm. The CGPSC 2024 application correction window with fee will be open from January 3 to January 5. As per the official notice, the CGPSC 2024 application correction fee is Rs 500. However, corrections to the local or residential status will require an additional payment.

CGPSC 2024 SSE exam dates

The CGPSC 2024 prelims is scheduled to be held on February 9 in two sessions: the morning session from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and afternoon session from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The CGPSC 2024 Mains will be conducted on June 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2025. Detailed schedules and venue information will be made available in due course on the official website.

CGPSC 2024 eligibility criteria

Candidates can have a look at the CGPSC 2024 eligibility criteria below.

• Candidates are required to hold a degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
• Those awaiting final results can also apply, provided they qualify before the Main exam’s application deadline.
• The age limits, calculated as of January 1, 2024, are 21 to 28 years, with relaxations of up to five years for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. Ex-servicemen and government employees are also eligible for specific age relaxations as per the notification.

CGPSC 2024 SSE Exam Pattern: Prelims paper

The CGPSC 2024 prelims will be conducted in offline mode. The CGPSC 2024 prelims will consist of 2 papers- general studies and aptitude test. The duration of each paper in CGPSC 2024 prelims exam is 2 hours. The CGPSC 2024 prelims paper carries 100 questions each. Candidates will get 2 marks for each right answer and one-third of marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
