CGPSC Recruitment 2024: Candidates can edit their application form from December 26 to 27 without any application fee.
NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has extended the registration deadline for the recruitment exam for Subedar, sub-inspector (SI), and Platoon commander in the police department. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form through the official website, psc.cg.gov.in.
As per the official notice, the last date to fill out the CGPSC Police SI 2024 application form is December 25, 2024. The board has also extended the deadline to make changes in the application form.
Candidates can edit their CGPSC application form 2024 from December 26 to December 27, 2024, without any application fee. The board will keep the correction window open from December 28 to December 29, 2024; however, candidates will be required to pay a certain amount of money to make any changes to their application form during this period.
“Corrections to the application form can be made between December 26, 2024, at 12:00 pm and December 27, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Paid corrections will be allowed from December 28, 2024, at 12:00 pm to December 29, 2024, at 11:59 pm,” the official notice read.
Initially, the online application window was scheduled from October 23, 2024, to November 21, 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill 341 posts for Subedar, sub-inspector (SI), and Platoon commander in the police department.

CGPSC Recruitment 2024: One-time relaxation approved
The board informed that as per the government’s recent letter dated December 10, 2024, a one-time relaxation has been approved under Rule 8[3] (a) and (b) of the Chhattisgarh Police Executive (Non-Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules 2021.
The changes specify that a minimum height of 163 cm will now apply to male candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category only. Additionally, the chest measurements have been revised to 78 cm unexpanded and 83 cm expanded for Scheduled Tribe male candidates exclusively.
“All other terms and conditions of advertisement number 02/2024/Exam dated October 21, 2024, remain unchanged,” the official notice read.
