Chandigarh NEET PG candidates who have already joined through AIQ or state counselling not eligible; stray vacancy round from February 17-19 for MD, MS courses

Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh has opened the stray vacancy round of state counselling for admission in MD, MS courses for the 2025 academic session. Candidates can apply online from February 17 to February 19 (till 4 PM) on gmch.gov.in for vacant seats after the third round of state quota counselling.
As per the official schedule, the list of candidates with deficient documents will be released on February 20 and applicants will be allowed to submit pending documents online on February 21. The provisional list of eligible candidates and seat matrix will be published on February 22, followed by choice filling and locking on the same day.
The final result and seat allotment will be declared on February 23, after which selected candidates must report and join the allotted institute as per instructions.
The institute has clarified that candidates who have already secured and joined a seat through AIQ or state counselling, including private or deemed quota seats, are not eligible to participate in this stray vacancy round.

Applicants have been advised to regularly check the GMCH website for updates, as the schedule may change subject to directions from competent authorities or courts.
Candidates registering for the stray vacancy round must upload the following documents:
Recent passport-size photograph
Matriculation certificate showing date of birth
Detailed marksheet of MBBS final part-2 professional examination
Internship completion certificate
NMC or state medical council registration certificate
NEET PG 2025 scorecard
UT Chandigarh pool eligibility certificate as per Clause PG-4B (if applicable)
Notarised affidavit regarding non-claim of residence of any other state/UT (if applicable)
Scheduled Caste or OBC certificate issued by UT Chandigarh competent authority (if applicable)
PwBD certificate from NMC-notified centre (if applicable)
Copy of OCI card (if applicable)
No Objection Certificate from employer for candidates working in government/semi-government/autonomous bodies/corporations
Character and conduct certificate from the last attended institution
Migration certificate (if available)
Any other relevant supporting document, if required
