CG PPT 2025, Pre MCA registration begins at vyapameg.cgstate.gov.in; exam on May 1

NEW DELHI: The Director Technical Education (DTE) Chhattisgarh has announced the datesheet for the CG Pre-Polytechnical Test (CG PPT) and Pre Master of Computer Application (MCA) entrance examinations for the academic session 2025. The authority will conduct the exam on May 1.
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will be conducting the CG PPT and Pre MCA entrance test 2025 in an offline mode for which the registrations were started on March 13. Eligible candidates can apply for the exams before April 11 through the online portal of Chhattisgarh Vyapam at vyapameg.cgstate.gov.in.
The registered candidates will be able to make changes to their CG PPT and Pre MCA application forms from April 12 to 14, before 5 pm. The CG PPT will be conducted in a single shift from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm while the Pre MCA entrance exam will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The board will issue the admit card for both the exams tentatively on April 22. The CG PPT test will be conducted at 33 district headquarters whereas the Pre MCA entrance test will take place at a centre in Bilaspur, Raipur.
The CG PPT exam is conducted for admissions to diploma courses in engineering offered by various participating institutes. The CG Pre MCA entrance exam, on the other hand, is held for candidates willing to apply for the MCA programme.
“On the basis of the said proposal, the schedule of the tentative examination has been set by Vyapam for online application of the examination. Candidates will be able to apply online in the portal of Vyapam. No examination fee will be charged from the participants who are local residents of CG State,” the official notice reads.

The general category candidates need to pay Rs 200 each to register for CG PPT and Pre MCA exams. Candidates, belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) are required to pay Rs 150 for the application fee. Whereas, the registration fee for Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates is Rs 100.
Candidates who have passed class 10th or equivalent exam with at least 35% score are eligible to apply for the CG PPT 2025. Candidate with bachelors degree in any discipline and who have Class 12 degree with mathematics as subject can apply for the Pre MCA programme.
