CHSE Odisha Result 2022 Out: Science, Commerce pass percentages drop this year

Download NowNEW DELHI : This year, 94.12% Science students have passed Odisha 12th board exam 2022 whereas the overall pass percentage of Commerce students is 89.20%. Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha has announced the Odisha board 12th result 2022 for science and commerce today at 4pm.
A total of 78,077 students had registered for Odisha Class 12 board exams 2022 for Science stream out of which 76,604 appeared for the exams including 42,203 boys and 34,401 girls. Out of the total appeared, 72,106 students have been declared pass which includes 39,587 boys and 32,519 girl students. Girls have outperformed boys by recording 94.52% pass percentage while 93.80% boys passed.

Around 50,157 students have passed in the first division in Odisha Science board exam 2022. 14,932 students have passed in the second division whereas 6,910 have passed in third. The overall pass percentage of Science students has dropped this year by 1.03 percentage points. Last year, 95.15% of students had passed the exams.
In Commerce stream, a total of 24,162 students had registered for Odisha Class 12 board exams 2022 out of which 23,726 appeared for the exams including 14,958 boys and 8,768 girls. Out of the total appeared, 21,165 students have been declared pass which includes 13,211 boys and 7,954 girl students. Girls have outshone boys by recording 90.71% while the pass percentage of boys remained 88.32%.

About 10,863 Commerce students have passed the Odisha 12th board exams in the first division. 5,053 students have passed in the second division whereas 5,242 have passed in third. 7 students have got a compartment this year. The overall pass percentage of Commerce students has dipped this year by 5.76 percentage points. Last year, students had recorded 94.96%.
