CIET NCERT Recruitment 2026: Candidates with work experience in the field of education, tech, research, eContent development, media, training, communication, or project implementation are eligible to apply.

The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) has opened applications for various contractual positions under the Project-Approval Board (PAB)-approved projects for the academic session 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply for various educational positions at CIET- NCERT through the official website at ncert.nic.in or ciet.nic.in.
The CIET-NCERT will close the application window for the eligible candidates on July 30 at 11 pm.
As per the official notification, those who will be selected will get an opportunity to work at CIET-NCERT New Delhi on a contractual period for up to March 31. The posts are purely temporary on contractual basis.
The positions are open for candidates having work experience in education, technology, research, eContent development, media, training, communication, or project implementation, the notice read.
Candidates will work on impactful national education projects, collaborate with experts in education and technology. They will also be innovating and contributing to digital learning initiatives to make a difference in school education across the country, the notification added.
Those interested will have to report for the interview on the fixed date and report latest by 9 am. No candidate will be allowed after 9:30 am.
The venue for the interview is Section Officer (SO), Planning and Research Division (P and RD), Room Number 242, CIET 2nd floor, Chacha Nehru Bhawan, CIET, NCERT, New Delhi-110016.
Those who have the required experience along with the remuneration of Rs 40,000 and above should have to support their claim by submitting an attested copy of the salary slip, bank statement, or ITR.
Notably, the notice also stated: “Time spent by a candidate for pursuing MPhil and/or PhD degree shall not count as teaching or research experience for the purpose of eligibility for engagement/ employment. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility conditions in terms of (i) educational qualifications (ii) experience, etc.”
Furthermore, the posts are purely temporary and the number of posts may increase or decrease as per need and requirement of the project at any stage, it added.
Candidates, who are already in a job (whether temporary or regular) should come with a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, without which they will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
They should bring original documents (qualifications, experience) at the time of interview along with bio-data in support of their degree (qualifications) and experiences in the prescribed forms only (Form attached in Annexure-1), it said.
In addition, interested applicants should bring along with them their written or published work, if any, (including their scripts, story boards, artwork, multimedia, graphics, animation, audio, videos advertisement, promos, books, journals, thesis, or dissertation magazines.
