NEW DELHI: The online registration of Common Law Admission Test or CLAT 2020 ends today.

The deadline for CLAT 2020 application has been extended multiple times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Candidates who haven’t applied for the registration have time only till midnight, July 10.

The exam will be conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities on Saturday, August 22 for admission to 5-year integrated LLB and LLM courses offered by 22 National Law Universities of India.

Applicants can log on the official website of Consortium of NLUs and register for the exam after verifying their email address. They can log in their account to complete the verification process.

Registered candidates will be issued the admit card a few days before CLAT 2020, which they can download from the official website

The CLAT 2020 will be conducted in online mode at 203 locations across India. The exam for the undergraduate (UG) program will include 150 MCQs to be asked from comprehension passages. In the previous session, there were 200 questions.

Postgraduate (PG) paper will also be a comprehension based test consisting of 120 questions. Students will be given 120 minutes to complete the test. Considering the difficulty being faced by the students due to the COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown, the authorities have removed the descriptive section from the exam.

This year, the students will be competing for around 2538 UG seats and 742 PG seats.
