New Delhi: NLU Delhi will conduct a webinar on July 23 to take students through the modalities of the AILET 2020 exam, which will now be administered as a remote-proctored test (RPT). The webinar will help students get acclimatized with the home-based online form of testing, and learn how to deal with technical problems such as inability to submit, lack of time, power cut, computer getting frozen, etc. In fact, NLU Delhi will conduct two webinars, with the second planned for July 30.

In addition to the webinars, exam officials will also be available on different social media platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and also on phone and mail to address students queries related to the remote-proctored exam.

Meanwhile, AILET 2020 hall ticket cum admit cards will be issued in online mode from July 27 onward. It may be noted that with the exam moving to RPT mode, no exam centres will be allocated for the current session.

AILET 2020 to be conducted as a remote proctored test (RPT)

On June 20, NLU Delhi issued a notice on its website notifying students that it will conduct the upcoming AILET entrance exam in remote proctored mode; previously the exam was conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The change in exam mode was done to ensure the safety of candidates given the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The home-based remote-proctored AILET 2020 exam will now be conducted on August 12. Another national-level exam, the CLAT 2020 exam will be held on August 22, but it will be conducted in online centre-based mode.
