NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the fourth round of CLAT 2021 seat allotment today, August 18. The seat allotment lists have been released separately for the LLB and LLM programmes for the 22 participating NLUs.

Shortlisted candidates may complete their admission process by August 18, 5 pm. Before this, the consortium had released the third seat allotment lists on August 13.

Candidates who participated in the fourth round of the CLAT admission process will now have three options as mentioned below.
a) Accept the allotted seat
b) Apply for upgrade
c) Exit from CLAT admission process
Candidates exercising this option will have to complete the admission process by uploading all the relevant documents on their CLAT account and complete the fee payment by visiting the allotted NLU.
Such candidates will not be considered for upgrade in the fifth seat-allotment round.
Candidates who are still looking for other NLUs have the option to apply for upgrade. Candidates who are excersing the upgrade option will also have to upload their documents on their CLAT 2021 account and pay the college fees as per the instructions.
It may be noted here that candidates who do not submit their documents or complete the fee payment at the allotted NLU will not be considered for upgrade.
This option is available for those candidates who want to quit the CLAT admission process. Candidates exercising this option will not be considered for admission even in the upcoming rounds of seat allotment.
