The consortium has given three options to candidates who participated in the third round seat allotment. These are as follows.
Accept the allotment
Apply for upgrade
Exit the admission process
Candidates who intend to accept the seat or looking to apply for the next round of seat allotment must upload their documents at CLAT 2021 login portal and complete the fee payment before August 14, by 5 pm.
Candidates exercising this option will have to complete the admission process by submitting the documents and paying the academic fees as per the instructions. However, such candidates will not be considered for an upgrade in subsequent rounds.
Candidates who want to appear in the next round of the selection process and get a different NLU other than the allotted may exercise the upgrade option.
Candidates applying for the upgrade will have to upload the relevant documents by logging into the CLAT 2021 login portal. Such candidates will also have to pay the fees to the allotted NLU.
Candidates who have already completed the fee payment in the second or first round of allotment need to pay only the balance fees (the difference amount as specified by the allotted university).
It may be noted that the candidates who have not submitted the fees to the allotted NLU or those who have not submitted the documents will not be considered for the upgrade option.
Candidates who do not want to participate in the CLAT admission process may exercise this option. Candidates exiting the admission process will not be considered for admission in any round of the CLAT seat allotment.
Candidates who could not secure a seat in the third round of allotment are requested to wait for the next or subsequent round of seat allotment. The fourth round of allotment will be released on August 17.
